Furever After
Originating in Calgary, AB (Canada), a non-profit organization called Furever After Rescue Society has committed to rescuing dogs from such things as natural disasters, neglect and any other unfortunate events that may have occurred in both Canada and the United States.
The groups’ central focus is primarily on the southern states, more so in Louisiana, where euthanasia is common. However, after two years of working on rescuing abandoned dogs, the Furever After Rescue Society has had a success rate of 100% in the locations they are present and continue to be a no kill organization with strong beliefs that regardless of where the animal is located, they are entitled to a humane life.
Upon selection for adoption, all the animals are given a full health inspection, spray/neuter and afterwards are relocated to a foster home which enables them to become socialized and trained until they are then ready to move into their new homes.
